January 2004 Flood in Athens, Ohio

After a weekend of heavy rains, the Hocking River crested in Athens, Ohio around noon, Monday, January 6, 2004.

The river reached 21.3 feet, 1.3 feet above flood stage.

The following pictures were taken around 1 pm that day.
